Wild Faces

My Sala Open Studio event has now finished and considering the awful winter conditions here in Goolwa I am quite pleased with my visitor numbers. Not huge but as this was the first time I was open to the public it was a n important festival to be involved in. Sadly I did not sell any originals but quite a few prints, cards and bookmarks. It however gave me a great opportunity to have locals know where I am and what I am about.
Tomorrow I deliver 12 of my animal/bird portraits to a winery about 50kms away where they will be on exhibit for the month of September. This is a solo exhibition for me and I am hoping that there will be a lot of interstate tourists going through this wine region too and they take home at least my website details.
We are about to take a few days off to go away in our brand new Off Road Caravan to give it a bit of a shake down cruise as my husband likes to say. I will be keeping a watch on all your blogs but for me there will be no painting for at least 10 days. Wow - hope I don't forget how!

You can see the 12 paintings I have selected to exhibit here
