I recently chose a palette of hot colour to depict a trio of Emu in the Red Centre of Australia. With these colours in mind I changed it up a bit replacing just the blue (from French Ultra Marine) to Manganese blue hue. My Winsor & Newton tube might have been quite old as it was really hard to get the colour out even though I stood it in hot water, anyway it came out very thick and didn't thin out easily when I added water????.
