Doggies

My Tuesday class this week was about creating interesting texture and brushstrokes to capture the essence of a pet and each student brought along their own reference. We practised eyes, noses and scaling up the size required for a painting. I am keen to see their finished doggie portraits next week.

For me I chose to paint two little doggies I have met and adore.
Meet Monty and Teddy.
Monty resides here in South Australia and Teddy hails from Essex in the UK. Both are such sweet natured, placid little doggies and everyone they meet are in love with them.

Monty
38cm x 28cm

Teddy
