I am the featured artist for the month of December at Art@Goolwa. This means in addition to my normal 5 included paintings I am given an additional wall. I was so excited to get December as it meant I could release my special Christmas painting. As I am so enchanted with my Pure Aussie Wool Series it just had to be a sheep painting. I have included as part of my exhibition, packs of Christmas cards and gift tags featuring this painting and also released some boxed sets of 8 assorted greeting cards. Selections are Animals, Florals and Fruit and of course Pure Aussie Wool.
Last week passed in a real blur with me totally revamping my website, trying to get my head around the photoshop elements course which finishes this week, setting up my feature wall and yesterday attending a 7 hour photo shoot course at the Adelaide Zoo where I had a ball. This week I hope to get back to some painting and just relax.

What a great honour to be featured artist. It sounds like a perfect opportunity for you right now. I love the sheep with santa hats. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful wall paintings in the gallery, before Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYour sheep with the hat, red and white, funny and delightful!
Making courses to learn something is interesting but also heavy for travel outside the studio. The best results, in future pay back these moments of intense work on Photoshop and on Photography.
Have nice week!!!
Featured Artist, fabulous Lorraine! What a week for you! You're such an inspiration, your wall and cards look just wonderful.

ReplyDeleteI can easily imagine you doing an entire series of Christmas paintings of the adorable sheep to go with this great one...carolers, sledding, building a snowman, etc. The prints from these should sell really well.
