Pretty Boy Watercolour 57cm x 38cm Arches Bright White 300gsm CP Paper |
This is a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo and the inspiration to paint him came after going through photos from a decade ago, happy memories and finding this cute chap. He stopped by frequently on our balcony whilst holidaying on Hamilton Island and my holiday snap also included some pretty bougainvillea. It was fun creating a white bird using soft delicate colour.
Great to see you painting again, Lorraine. And he is a handsome fellow indeed.
ReplyDeleteLorraine, he is gorgeous! I love parrots anyway, but what a sweet look he's got. Can't imagine one stopping by! Keep painting!
